Riley Beckner

Fabricator

Years at Midwest Mole: 2
Meet Riley Beckner. He may be our youngest Mole, but that doesn't stop him from working just as hard as everyone else. Riley joined us in 2019. He saw working here as an amazing opportunity to learn & grow his skills. Every day after high school, he spends the rest of the day on our fabrication side of the shop grinding and welding.

"The people that work here are amazing and I just have an overall enjoyment of being here and doing the work we do," he said. His favorite project to date was something he worked on during his first couple of weeks here. He was able to work on our biggest tunneling machine to date with Jim Cook, our head mechanic at the time. The opportunity to learn so much from someone with such knowledge was something that he will never forget.

In his spare time, Riley loves hanging out with his buddies. His big passion is cars and he loves being around them. He is also very technologically savvy and builds computers.

Riley's words of wisdom for any new associate is "Some stuff here may be hard to overcome but just keep up the hard work and push through it!" Such insight from someone so young. With an attitude like that, he will definitely make it far in this world and we are glad that he is on our team.
