Frequently Asked Questions

Where are your projects located?

Our projects are generally located within a six-hour radius of Indianapolis, or a two-hour radius of Washington, DC. However, if a project is worth our time, we will sometimes work outside of our typical area. Travel is required for most of our positions.

Are background checks and drug tests part of the hiring process?

Yes. Job offers are contingent on a personal background check and drug screen. If your background check and drug screen produce satisfactory results, your offer will be finalized.

Midwest Mole will consider for employment all qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all applicable laws. All required background checks and drug screens will be conducted only after a conditional job offer has been extended. Any consideration of an applicant’s criminal history will be tailored to the requirements of the job and any applicable regulations.

What do positions at Midwest Mole pay?

Many different factors go into determining pay, including the type of position, candidate skill level, and relevant experience. The interview process is the best time to find out what this means for you.

What qualities do you look for when hiring at Midwest Mole?

We’re always looking for motivated individuals who are committed to ethics and integrity. We want people who are passionate about solving problems, and who strive to lead.

What is your company culture?

Midwest Mole is a large enough company to give every employee a sense of security, but small enough that everyone matters and everyone has a job to do. We never want to grow so much that we cannot properly train and take care of the people that work here. We love our jobs and take pride in knowing very few people can do what we do. We love working hard while maintaining a family atmosphere.

Are there any employment restrictions?

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older to apply for any Midwest Mole position. Some positions could require a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history, as well as other credentials or certifications.
