INDOT hired Midwest Mole to rehabilitate a failing 14-foot CMP culvert under Interstate 65. The existing CMP had a 2.5-foot belly due to the extreme pressure caused by years of heavy traffic on I-65. Our crews set up a bypass pump to divert the nearby Little Calumet River, dewatered the culvert, installed an 11.5-foot liner, built bulkheads, and filled the annular space with cellular grout.
