In April of 2015, Cory Sears was just getting out of the Army and looking for a job. He had heard of Midwest Mole because his stepdad currently works here. He decided to give it a try and has been here 5 years now.

Cory was recently promoted to Foreman-in-Training. He spends his days running equipment, hand-signaling operators and using an Air Spade. He enjoys the challenge of what he does, knowing that every day is different and has its own set of challenges to overcome.

“You have to have thick skin to work here and be ready to work hard and travel or else you won’t make it here,” Cory said. “But at the same time, it pays off. Midwest Mole has always taken care of me and has helped me with whatever I needed.”

Cory relaxes by playing golf any chance he can get and spending time with his beautiful wife and three adorable little children.
