Meet Bill Cook, Air Force veteran who served 22 years and Midwest Mole mechanic. He was contacted by a headhunter in 2016, we were looking for a versatile mechanic, and accepted the position. A typical day for him is anything but typical. He maintains our tunnel equipment, HDD equipment, Heavy equipment, Tractor/trailers and all other equipment we own. In addition, he goes onsite to service any equipment if needed.

Every day is a new challenge. Knowing that the work he does affects all the jobs in the field is what motivates him to come to work every day. Everyone’s role is vital. We know that the only way to function as a field first company is through the individual actions of our entire team and Bill is no exception. Bill’s words of advice to a new associate are to “Work hard and keep safety first.”

Outside of work, Bill is a craft beer connoisseur. He also enjoys working on cars- he used to drift cars in a pro-am series! He adores spending time with his beautiful wife and son.
